What is the #1 parking citation in SF in the year 2011?

You guess it!!! Street Cleaning.

Based on SFMTA accounting department (as reported in 7x7.com magazine),

SFMTA issued 527,563 citations for street cleaning. At a fine of $55.00 a pop....SFMTA received $29 million (yes! million) from vehicle owners.

Of course, SFMTA argues that each and every single citation is valid AND that each and every single parking citation officer has completed the citation accurately, legally, and according to California laws and regulations.

Do they really?
